Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Arividam website, mobile applications and all related services operated by Arividam from Kasaragod, Kerala, India. It covers every user role on the platform: students, parents and guardians, tutors, schools, coaching centres, skill development partners, and government or corporate partners.

By registering for early access or using the platform, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Account information

Name, mobile number, email address, role (student, parent, tutor, institution), city and state, and password credentials in hashed form.

Verification documents (educators and institutions)

Government identity documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport or driving licence, academic degree and experience certificates, and institution registration proof. These are collected only for verification.

Learning activity

Bookings, class attendance records, assignment submissions, grades and feedback, recording watch history, and AI workspace prompts and responses.

Payment information

Transaction amounts, wallet balances, escrow status and payout records. Card and UPI credentials are handled by our payment gateway and are never stored on Arividam servers.

Technical data

Device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, and usage logs used for security, fraud prevention and service reliability.

• To create and operate your account and deliver the services you request.
• To verify educator identity and academic credentials before a Verified badge is issued.
• To process bookings, hold fees in escrow and release payouts once classes are delivered.
• To generate attendance records, progress reports and verifiable certificates.
• To provide AI study assistance, including summaries, quizzes and doubt resolution.
• To detect fraud, abuse and policy violations, and to keep minors safe on the platform.
• To send service communications such as class reminders, attendance alerts and payment receipts.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use verification documents for advertising or share them with other users.

Many Arividam learners are under 18. Accounts for minors must be created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent for the processing of the minor's data.

• Parents can view their child's attendance, progress and booking history.
• We do not run behavioural advertising to minors.
• Class recordings are accessible only to enrolled participants and the assigned educator.
• Parents may request correction or deletion of a minor's data at any time.

• With the educator or institution you book, limited to the details needed to deliver the class.
• With payment and banking service providers to process deposits, escrow and payouts.
• With cloud hosting, storage, communication and analytics providers who process data on our instructions.
• With a partner government body or employer only for programmes you have explicitly enrolled in, and limited to attendance and completion data.
• With law enforcement or regulators where required by applicable Indian law.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Verification documents are restricted to the verification team, and administrative access is logged.

No system is completely immune to risk. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law.

• Account and learning records: retained while your account is active.
• Financial and transaction records: retained as required under Indian tax and accounting rules.
• Verification documents: retained for the period the educator or institution remains listed, then deleted.
• Certificates and their verification IDs: retained long term so credentials stay verifiable.

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate account or profile information.
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account, subject to legal retention duties.
• Object to specific processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Raise a complaint with our Grievance Redressal Officer.
