Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, escrow-backed rules for cancellations, missed classes and fee reversals.

Effective date: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 1 April 2026

Fees are released only for classes that are actually delivered. If an educator misses a session or a verified platform failure prevents a class, you get your money back in full.

This document is maintained by the Arividam compliance team and reflects our current practice. Questions or complaints go to our Grievance Redressal Officer at grievances@arividam.com.

1. The escrow principle

Every fee you pay is held in escrow in your Arividam Wallet and is released to the educator or institution only after the class or milestone is delivered. If a class is not delivered, the money is still yours.

2. Cancellation by a student or parent

  • Cancelled more than 12 hours before the scheduled start: full refund to your wallet.
  • Cancelled between 12 and 2 hours before the start: refund of the fee less a scheduling charge retained by the educator.
  • Cancelled less than 2 hours before the start, or a no-show: the session is treated as delivered and the fee is released to the educator.
  • Monthly batches may be cancelled for the remaining undelivered sessions at any time.

3. Cancellation or absence by an educator

  • If an educator cancels, you may reschedule at no cost or take a full refund.
  • If an educator does not join a scheduled session, the escrow hold is reversed in full.
  • Repeated cancellations affect an educator's standing and can lead to delisting.

4. Technical failures

If a live class cannot proceed because of a verified platform failure, the session is refunded or credited in full. Interruptions caused by a user's own internet connection or device are not eligible for refund, though educators may reschedule at their discretion.

5. Institutional and programme fees

  • Institutional programme fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis for undelivered sessions.
  • Enrolment or admission charges, where clearly disclosed at the time of purchase, are non-refundable.
  • Government or sponsored programme fees follow the terms of the specific programme agreement.

6. Certificates and skill programmes

Certificate issuance charges are non-refundable once a credential has been generated and a verification ID has been assigned, because the credential remains permanently verifiable.

7. Refund timelines

  • Wallet credit: immediate once the refund is approved.
  • Withdrawal from wallet to a bank account or UPI: normally 3 to 7 working days.
  • Disputed cases: reviewed within 7 working days of the complaint being raised.

8. How to request a refund

Raise the request from the booking in your dashboard, or contact support on +91 8848241358 or grievances@arividam.com with your booking reference. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, escalate to our Grievance Redressal Officer.
